SAME Like WhatsApp, they say Facebook is putting new limits on Messenger. Facebook will introduce a message forwarding limit in Messenger. Therefore, existing messages can only be forwarded to five people or groups at a time.
As quoted from Sindonews, Tuesday (08/09/2020), when trying to forward content or messages to more than five people at the same time, Facebook users will receive the message “Forwarding limit reached”. The user can no longer forward the message to more recipients. It was reported Mashable.

This new feature will be available in several countries and will gradually be implemented in other regions. This feature of limiting forwarded messages is reported to be present for all users globally on September 24, 2020.
Facebook explained that the reason for making this feature was to decrease the spread of misinformation and dangerous content that could cause riots in the real world.

Last August, Facebook also added a fact-checking feature for messages forwarded on WhatsApp. Then, in April, they began to mark messages that were forwarded several times to let recipients know that they did not come from a close contact.
